Fjord Norway
Here the roads end at ferry quays, and short distances take longer than the map suggests. Cross the mountains on Sognefjellsvegen or the old Strynefjell road, follow the Hardangerfjord, or drive the Atlantic Road on the Møre coast. Further south, Ryfylke and the beaches and farmland of Jæren are a quieter way to begin.
